Barfoot & Thompson

Stephen joined Barfoot & Thompson in early 2017 and quickly established a thriving Property Management team at the Titirangi branch.

His leadership and dedication were recognised just a year later, in 2018, when he was awarded the #1 Top Achiever award and the Top Customer Satisfaction award for West Auckland.

With a strong background in facilitation and drama teaching, Stephen transitioned seamlessly into the role of Property Management Trainer, where he helped shape the next generation of professionals. Over the years, he progressed into management, serving as Manager of Training and Recruitment before being appointed Regional Manager – Property Management in 2024.

In this role, Stephen oversees the Training Team and Training Academy, guiding new cadets on meaningful career journeys in Property Management. He works closely with branches across the network, providing support in staff management, business development, and customer experience strategy.

A firm believer in the family values of Barfoot & Thompson, Stephen is passionate about ensuring staff receive top-tier training that keeps them up to date with the latest compliance requirements, rental trends, and government regulations.

Outside of real estate, he is an active member of the arts community and a dedicated theatre director. In his spare time, Stephen brings full-scale musicals to life across Auckland, combining his leadership skills with his love for the performing arts.
