Open to companies or individuals working directly in the business of property management. This award recognises growth over the competition period, based purely on organic growth in revenue, new business, and churn. Rent roll acquisitions are not taken into account.
Eligibility: Companies or individuals in property management. Growth is measured against the equivalent period one year prior.
Criteria & Scoring (100 points total):
● 10 points: written submission.
● 20 points: video submission.
● 50 points: provides the estimated annualised management income of new business organically grown in the competition period.
● 20 points: provides the growth of new investor clients over the competition period.
Entry Requirements: Standard entry requirements apply. Nominees must also provide supporting evidence of growth, such as Portfolio Summary or Net Gain reports.
Note on Overlap: Nominees also entering the Property Manager of the Year or Property Management Agency of the Year categories may reference the same underlying figures, but each submission must be written to address that category’s specific criteria.
Terms
Competition Period: 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. All performance-based criteria (growth, annual average management income (AAMI), revenue, arrears, churn, testimonials, portfolio statistics, etc.) must relate to activity within this period, compared against the equivalent period one year prior unless otherwise stated.
Submission Deadline: Nominations must be submitted before 4.00pm on Friday 18th September. No extensions.
Judging Panel: Except for the People’s Choice Supplier of the Year Award, each category is assessed by an independent judging panel. Panel members must declare any personal, financial, or employment relationship with a nominee and recuse themselves from judging that entry.
Cross-Category Eligibility: A nominee may be entered into more than one category where eligibility allows, but each submission must be tailored to address that category’s specific criteria. Judges assess each category independently.
Standard Entry Requirements (apply to all judged categories unless a category states otherwise):
● A written submission of no more than 500 words explaining why the nominee is worthy of the award.
● A short video, no longer than 3 minutes, describing what the nominee has been nominated for and the results achieved.
● A bio of no more than 500 words, plus a current photo or headshot (or company logo for agency or company nominations).
● Where quantitative claims are made (for example revenue, growth, arrears, or churn figures), nominees should provide supporting evidence, ideally corroborated by a manager, director, or accountant.
